Another research focus is on Hiroshima Films. His Master's degree project was the screenplay Hiroshima. Hiroshima, recognized by Francis Ford Coppola's Screenwriting Contest, is the story of a Japanese-American spy smuggled into Hiroshima, Japan in 1945. He falls in love with a young, wealthy Japanese woman jeopardizing his mission and his life. Their love leads to a chain reaction of events and the decision to drop the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Greg Nielsen's writing experience ranges from non-fiction, to fiction and includes poetry, magazine, film, television, radio and business writing. Some of his published works include RiverSpeak, MetaBusiness, and Tuning to the Spiritual Frequencies. The Sixth Commandment, a dramatic thriller, is pinballing around Hollywood. Greg is a member of the Authors Guild, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Pi Lamda Theta Education Honor Society.
